Opening of the Gorka Helicopter Academy.
The Business Aviation Innovation Center, the Gorka Heliport, has officially opened the Helicopter Academy.
All civil aviation education initiatives are now being integrated into one place with the aim of stimulating anyone with an interest in or associated with helicopters.
The main criterion used in the Helicopter Academy system is relevance and a systematic approach.
A qualified pedagogical staff and experienced instructors who actively use unique methods and educational techniques that correspond to modern trends help to realize the goals.
Gorka Helicopter Academy is designed for those who want to master the art of safe flying Robinson 44 and Robinson 66 helicopters from scratch to advanced level.
Training takes place in groups of no more than 10 people in specialized classrooms equipped with modern interactive learning systems and visual aids capable of simulating emergency situations and options of the way out of them.
On the basis of the Gorka Helicopter Academy, engineering and technical specialists are trained for the following types of helicopters:
- Bell 505 (H&E) - 120 academic hours (including a full course for helicopters with an Arrius 2R engine);
- Bell 407 - 120 academic hours;
- R66 - 80 academic hours and 30 academic hours (PDA);
- R44 - 80 academic hours and 30 academic hours (PDA).
For students at the Gorka Helicopter Academy, there are special conditions for staying in a modern hotel, as well as additional privileges in a restaurant at the complex territory.
